BioDreaming Competition
Website: http://biotechinstitute.org/programs/biodreaming.htmlWhat: Design a poster that expresses the concept of the role that biotechnology plays in our lives, the community, and/or in the world thereby increasing student awareness of the importance of biotechnology in their lives today and in the future.
Who can enter: All K-12 students in public and private schools and youth organizations are eligible.
*Immediate family members of Eli Lilly and Company and Dow AgroSciences employees are not eligible.
Awards/Winners: 3 winners in each category
(Kindergarten-3rd grade; 4th-6th grade; 7th-9th grade; 10th-12th grade)
• 1st place = $500
• 2nd = $250
• 3rd = $100
Top 12 winners will have their artwork displayed on the Biotechnology Institute's website.
Judging Criteria:
• Clear message conveyed by the text and artwork
• The biotechnology poster theme is addressed.
• Creativity, originality , and artistic quality .
• Visual clarity - easily read.
• Bright and colorful.
• Scientific accuracy
