| Advice: | Basically, you can only apply for this award if you have created or are in the midst of creating some sort of large community group/project that is or will be successful. So definitely, this will be very time-consuming. But don’t just do it for the award! Do it because you care and want to make a difference in the community. Take a second look at the Judging Criteria to see if your current project fits the criteria, and to plan your project accordingly. If you are planning a project, I recommend that you wait until next year – or 2010 – to apply for this scholarship. By then, your project will be settled and more likely to win this award. |
